You may have seen the news that UCSC’s Chancellor Emeritus Karl Pister passed away recently at age 96. Chancellor Pister and his wife, Rita, made enormous contributions to UCSC.
The Rita Olsen Pister Endowed Scholarship was named after his wife to honor her commitment to the former Women’s Club.
